We’re going to cap of this week with some snatches. The snatch, much like the clean, is an incredible movement that relies on hip speed to launch the bar into the air. It’s all about power, or the ability to move a heavy object quickly. Pay attention to the arms in the snatch. Coach Burgener has some good insight to the use, or lack of use of the arms in the snatch in the following video:
